尊敬的招生主任，你好。

我是XX的家长李XX，非常感谢你们能给予XX一个等待录取的机会。虽然面对这个结果我们全家都有些失落，但也让我们感受到了竞争的激烈以及XX自身的差距，同时也让女儿学会了如何面对挫折。我们知道，虽然有个等待的机会，但最终能不能被录取依然也有很多不确定因素，因为学校有学校自己的判断。尽管如此，XX最近还是不断和我们沟通，并提出哪怕只有最后一线希望，她也要去争取，所以我们也被她这种执着感动，希望以家长的名义进一步向你们推荐XX。

自从2009年在上海的香格里拉酒店举行的北美寄宿高中交流会上知道康科德以后，XX就对康科德一直很关注，先后从各种渠道去了解和研究康科德，学校先进的教学理念、严谨的学术氛围以及丰富的课外活动深深地吸引了女儿，女儿也一直把能进入康科德读书作为她自己的一个梦想，尤其在去康科德参观和面试后，更加坚定了她的这一信念，因此在今年的申请中，女儿一直把康科德作为她的首选，并坚持自己亲自准备申请材料，并坚持要去学校面试。

我们知道，在众多优秀的孩子中间，女儿并不一定是最拔尖的，但作为XX的家长，我们深知，XX是一个非常有抱负的孩子，也是一个非常有责任感、非常独立、非常容易相处的孩子；同时，在完成学校规定的学习任务基础上，XX非常注重自身综合素养的培养，在学校能够积极参加各种课外活动，平时非常乐意参加各种公益活动，也在生活中从点滴开始有意识地培养自己独立面对困难和问题的能力；更为重要的是，我们非常欣赏孩子的亲和力和影响力，在团队中能发挥不同性格、不同特长的人共同去完成一个目标，能经常有一些小点子去激励大家。另外，我们也非常欣赏XX独立的判断和思维，对待很多问题经常会提出一些不同的看法，也经常会有一些不同寻常的创意和点子。正是因为XX身上的这些潜质，所以我们觉得孩子很适合去美国接受教育，也坚信如果能有机会到康科德读书，也一定会用未来的成就给康科德增光添彩。

我们知道，康科德是一家顶尖的私立高中，作为家长，我们愿意为学校的建设，为保持提高康科德在业界的地位和影响力共同出力。如有可能，我们愿意向学校提供一定的捐助，也愿意和学校一起共同策划一些项目去推广康科德的理念，去培养学生的领导能力和创新精神。

最后，我们再次代表XX，恳求学校给XX一个到贵校就读的机会，并希望能在近期安排一个时间让我们到学校与你们进一步沟通。同时，如果你们同意录取XX，我们将放弃其他学校，并马上交付全部学费。

I am XX’s father, and I appreciate that you gave her a chance of acceptance. Although the result was frustrating to all of us, but it not only made us fully aware of the fierce competition as well as XX’s weakness but also meanwhile teach her how to face the frustration. We all know that the acceptance is still up in the air although you have the intention to accept her. After all, you have your own judgment. Even so, XX keeps communicating with us, and indicates that she will spare no efforts in spite of a glimmer of hope. As parents, we all impressed by her persistence, and wish to recommend XX in the name of parents.

Since knowing Concord Academy at the North American Boarding Schools Exchange held in Shangri La, Shanghai in 2009, XX has been keeping a close eye on you, and getting to know and understand your school in various ways. She was deeply attracted by your advanced teaching philosophy, rigorous academic atmosphere as well as abundant extracurricular activities. My daughter has always been having the dream to be accepted to study at Concord Academy, which was further strengthened after visiting and interview at Concord Academy. That is why she took Concord Academy as the priority for her application and insisted on preparing and interviewing by herself.

We are clear that my daughter is not the most ablest among so many excellent children. As her parents, we are aware that XX is a girl with ambition, responsibility, independence and accessibility; meanwhile, besides finishing school tasks, she attaches great importance to the cultivation of overall qualities by positively joining extracurricular activities of all kinds, participating in public benefit activities and developing her ability to challenge difficulties and solve problems consciously bit by bit; what is more important, we admire the affinity and influence of the girl, who can finish a task by giving full play to people with different dispositions and specialties, and inspire every by some creative ideas. In addition, we appreciate her ability of independent judgment and thinking, witnessed by different opinions on some issues and distinctive creativities and ideas. It is her potentials that make us believe that she is the right girl for American education, and she will surely honor you with her bright achievements if she has the opportunity to study at Concord Academy.

We know that Concord Academy is one of the top high school in American; and as her parents, we wish to make contribution to the development, status, and reputation of the school. If you give us a chance, we would like to make denotations, and contribute to your promotion of Concord idea so as to cultivate students' abilities of leadership and innovation.
